Andrew graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and went on to obtain his Master’s of Arts degree in marriage, couples, and family counseling at Geneva College. After graduating from Slippery Rock University, Andrew worked in the children/adolescent mental health field as a Family-Based Clinician for Western Psychiatric Hospital of UPMC for five years. Andrew’s role there was to co-facilitate therapy services for intended client and their families over a 32-week period. This included assessing the family, treatment planning with them, providing crisis management, case management, and discharge planning. Andrew then went on to work in adult mental health as an inpatient psychiatric social worker at Heritage Valley, Beaver for three years.

Andrew is very familiar with the methods and interventions of the Structural and Narrative Therapy models, while also believing in being a lifelong learner. Andrew is always trying to better his services by refining his therapeutic approach with interventions based on theories that best benefits each individual client including using Gottman Method Couples Therapy and completing their Level 1 training. Andrew is committed to creating a safe environment where his clients can explore and express themselves without judgment. Andrew has a personal philosophy that includes meeting others where they are at with empathetic regard for their unique experiences.
