Kaleigh is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She received her education in undergraduate studies in psychology from Washington and Jefferson College in 2016. Then went on to pursue her graduate degree at Carlow University and obtained a Master’s in Professional Counseling in 2018. Upon graduation, she completed required supervision hours and obtained licensure in October 2022. During this time, she developed clinical expertise with employment in the emergency setting at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPH) and Resolve Crisis Center, gaining experience with acute psychiatric distress. She has also provided direct inpatient care to those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and various intellectual disabilities. She is well versed in her ability to offer services to individuals across the lifespan with a variety of psychological needs.
Kaleigh believes that the counseling process should be built off an authentic, healthy, therapeutic relationship with a focus on the client’s individual strengths and values. Her goal is to offer guidance through various aspects of life that are ever-changing, including times of transition, interpersonal conflict, mood dysregulation, processing of traumatic experiences, and periods of bereavement. Her practice utilizes evidence-based practice including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, mindfulness training, and narrative techniques.
