Lauren Szpak Bryant is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health needs including depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and adjustment disorders. Lauren is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and motivational interviewing. Lauren has extensive experience in the field of mental health, including experience across multiple levels of care including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, school-base outpatient, and outpatient therapy.
Lauren obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Waynesburg University, where she was also a member of Chi Sigma Iota National Honor Society. Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Robert Morris University. Lauren utilizes a strength-based approach to empower clients to believe that they possess natural strengths and abilities that can be used to help to navigate and overcome the stressors that life can pose. Lauren strives to make each client feel like they are heard and encourages them to recognize that their story matters. Lauren recognizes the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment to encourage clients to feel supported and seen as they work on their treatment goals.
