Pam is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who is also nationally certified with the National Board for Certified Counselors. Pam also has her co-occurring disorders certification, to work with those who have both mental health and addiction concerns, and she holds a level two complex trauma certification (CCTP-II). Pam specializes in working with adults who have experienced childhood traumas. She identifies primarily as a cognitive behavioral therapist; however, she believes in using techniques from other theoretical orientations to best address the situation. Pam believes in mental health recovery, and she will facilitate your journey throughout recovery. She believes in empowering her clients to look within themselves to find the best solutions to their problems, rather than to provide them with the answer. Pam believes in keeping things real by allowing her clients to see her human side and tends to use humor to promote a relaxed and productive therapeutic relationship. "It is the relationship that heals" -Irvin Yalom.
