Grace is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania, having earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work and B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Grace takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach in therapy. You know yourself best! Grace will collaborate with you to create your goals based on your self-identified needs. Her clients are her equal in the helping process, and she will ensure that your treatment is guided by you. She strives to foster a therapeutic relationship that makes her clients feel seen, heard, and safe. Grace believes that the greater the insight a person has into their mental health, the more equipped they are to strengthen it, and will provide psychoeducation that allows her clients to do just this. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, anger management, OCD, trauma/PTSD, body image/self-esteem, and addictions. She draws upon a number of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, always operating from a trauma-informed lens.
