Jessica Case is a pre-doctoral psychology intern at CBI. She completed a Master’s of Education degree (MSEd) in child psychology in 2019 and is currently pursuing her doctorate in school psychology (Psy.D.) at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. While completing her graduate work at Duquesne, she has gained experience in the private practice setting, where she has conducted intake interviews, administered psychological assessments, developed comprehensive treatment plans, and provided individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. Jessica also has previous experience working within the school setting, administering assessments and interventions, providing consultation, and creating comprehensive education plans to promote student success. In all aspects of her work, she makes every attempt to bridge clinical practice and empirical research, while also considering the client’s unique needs. Jessica utilizes evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), expressive therapies, as well as mindfulness-based approaches. Jessica strives to meet clients where they are and build a trusting and collaborative relationship that serves to align the client with their desired goals.
