Casey is a licensed clinical social worker and has been in the mental health field for seven years in a variety of settings.  Casey has experience working with children and adolescents, persons with substance use disorders, and older adults in the inpatient setting providing group and individual therapy.  She now specializes in treating persons with eating disorders (Binge eating disorder, Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia nervosa, Other specified eating disorder) and co-occuring disorders including substance use, anxiety, depression, and OCD.  Casey utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.  Casey approaches treatment with a focus on connecting you with your deepest values in the service of your most meaningful life.  She also believes in the power of connection and practices relational and family therapies.  Casey utilizes interventions grounded in understanding gender and race identities that inform clients’ every day lives.  Casey aims to help every client in finding and creating their own tools to move through emotional experience and create the life they most want to be living. “The opposite of addiction isn’t sobriety.  It’s connection.” -Johann Hari
