Lindsey Venesky, PhD, NCSP
Child PsychologistDr. Venesky is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University and Southern New Hampshire University. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, earning a Master’s of Education degree (MSEd) in child psychology and a PhD in school psychology. She completed her post-doctoral training at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC where her work focused on the evaluation and treatment of young children and their families, with a focus on those who have experienced trauma. She also received specialized training in evidence-based treatments, including Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Dr. Venesky has experience working within schools as well as private practice providing assessment, consultation, and counseling services. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults as well as families in meeting their needs and supporting their healing process in a comprehensive manner. She strives to meet clients where they are and work within a trusting and collaborative relationship to achieve desired goals.
