Matt Trozzo is a pre-licensed counselor. He completed a BA in Psychology & an MS in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from Duquesne University. He has 10 years of experience working in mental health, with the majority of that occurring in in-home family therapy for children at risk of out-of-home placement via Wesley Family Services’ Family Based Mental Health program. Matt has an extensive history of dealing with a large variety of mental health diagnoses, but the focus of his therapeutic approach uses an eco-systemic model that seeks to engage client strengths and supports to enable positive change. He believes in utilizing self-directed goal setting to create empowered choices in helping clients meet their life’s aspirations.
