I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and ERP-certified therapist who provides compassionate, practical, and individualized therapy for adults who are looking to better understand themselves, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I work collaboratively with clients to better understand the OCD cycle, face fears and uncertainties in a gradual and manageable way, and reduce the compulsive behaviors and avoidance that can keep OCD in control.
My overall approach to therapy is collaborative and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can be open about what you’re experiencing while also developing practical strategies to move forward. I work with adults experiencing OCD, anxiety, depression, stress, fears, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, unwanted habits, and patterns of thinking or behavior that may be getting in the way of living the life they want.
I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches based on each person's needs and goals. When appropriate, I also offer hypnosis as a complementary therapeutic technique to help clients work with thoughts, emotions, habits, and deeply ingrained patterns in a focused and intentional way.
My goal is to help you gain greater insight, develop effective coping skills, build confidence, and feel more in control of your life. I believe you already possess many of the strengths and resources necessary for change, and therapy can provide the support, perspective, and tools to help you access them.
